Bovey Pool kicks off its 50th year celebrations with a unique event in its history as, for the first time ever the pool opens its gates on Boxing Day through to New Year’s Eve.
Welcoming all, the great news is that you all can help shed those extra Christmas calories in our fully heating outdoor pool or perhaps you could help the younger ones burn off all that pent-up energy. Either way, for the first time in the Charity’s history, you can swim this Festive season in Bovey’s own pool.
Kicking off on Boxing Day, the pool will open for six one-hour sessions starting at 9am and finishing at 4:30pm.
On Thursday December 27th through to Sunday 31st the pool will be open from 12noon – 3pm with the first hour of these sessions dedicated to lane swimming with the remaining two hours a general fun swim.
Tickets and more information will be available online at www.boveyswimmingpool.org.uk or you can purchase tickets at both Café 64 and Café 360 in the town from the 5th November 2018.
Please note, due to the nature of events, tickets will be limited, so book early to guarantee your place at Bovey Tracey’ Pool’s very first seasonal swim where a warm welcome awaits you.
