Bovey Neighbourhood Plan consultation
Purpose of This Consultation
The purpose of this consultation is to ask if you agree with the Vision and Objectives that the Neighbourhood Plan (NP) Steering Group has drafted for Bovey Tracey Parish, based on the results of the survey completed by 1240 residents and local business people in March. The responses were independently analysed by Catalyst and their report has been on the Town Council website and in the library since July.
A Vision for Bovey Tracey Parish
Your survey responses gave the NP clear guidelines as to how you want the Parish to be in the future, and a draft Vision statement has been drawn up for you to consider and comment on.
Objectives
With the help of community volunteers, the Steering Group studied the results of the March survey and considered what could be realistically attained. They developed a number of draft objectives for you to examine and comment on in this present consultation.
How to Express your Opinions
When you attend one of the consultation meetings, you will be given a response form on which to indicate whether you agree or disagree with the Vision and each Objective. In each case there will also be space for your comments.
How to Comment Online
The Vision and Objectives will be available online for you to see and comment on and you will be able to navigate easily to them from the homepage of the Town Council website (www.boveytracey.gov.uk). However, if you can possibly attend a meeting we urge you to do so, as you will have the opportunity to chat to Steering Group members.
