The festive season brings with it the delights of the Devon Guild Christmas selling exhibition MAKE2018 at the popular Riverside Mill in Bovey Tracey. Filled to the brim with colourful contemporary craft, designer-makers from across the UK are featured across a wide range of crafts and materials. In a relaxed shopping environment you can cover most of your gift shopping needs in one hit!
Cards, wrapping, decorations and gifts, sit alongside wonderful unique crafts, great for gifts that just can’t be bought on the city high streets.
MAKE2018 runs Saturday 17 November to Sunday 6 January at Devon Guild of Craftsmen. Entry is free and there’s a great café on site when you’re ‘shopped out’!
The Devon Guild are also running a Scandinavian hygge craft café on Friday 7 December at 7pm celebrating the festive season with an evening of Scandinavian winter craft and food. This is a cosy buffet evening with relaxed craft tutorials to enjoy with friends, families or as a works Christmas gathering. You’ll go home with your own creations, including leather and willow tree decorations, and enjoy a delicious Scandinavian buffet meal including orange, fig and goats cheese tart, spiced ham hock terrine, Scandinavian meatballs, beetroot cured Salmon and spiced apple cake with berries and cream, and festive drinks.
