My name is Sandy Jay and I am a qualified Psychotherapist, Trainer & Supervisor.

My business, 'Psychotherapy Services Devon’ is based in Liverton, Nr Bovey Tracey although I also work throughout England and run seminars in Greece.

Aswell as running my business I also have many years experience working in the NHS as a Psychological Therapist, supervising staff and enabling clients with mild to moderate mental health issues to move forward in their life.

The therapeutic model I use will depend on the needs of the individual/group. I have a wide experience of working with various models and have training in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Group Analysis, Brief Solution Focussed Therapy and Clinical Supervision.

With the individual/couple work it is important to meet first to decide if we feel I am the best person to help you. If not then I can refer on.

The first couple of sessions will be focussed on assessment of your needs and issues. We will then be in a better position todecide on the best form and method of therapy. The sessions last 50 minutes and cost £45.

The Saturday groups run for one day and each member commits to 6 days. Therefore this is an ongoing group that builds trust and processes the relationship dynamics that occur within the group. The days incorporate both action methods, discussion, group exercises and exploration of the group process as it evolves. Each day costs £80 and runs from 9.30 – 5.30pmon a Saturday. The residential weekends have proved to be very popular and now run twice a year in the beautiful grounds of Buckfast Abbey in Devon. Hours are counted towards training or therapy as Sandy is a Psychotherapy Trainer.

The weekend groups get full very quickly so please contact me early to avoid disappointment.

No experience of groups or therapy is necessary. Just bring yourself' and your desire to connect to others.
