Yoga Nidra - Deep Relaxation

Thu 3 Dec 2009

This may just help you if you suffer with M.E. / Fibromyalgia / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I know from personal experience that it can. I am grateful that it helped me and I would now like to offer it to you.

When you have reached the end of your tether it can be very hard to pull yourself back. When you are so tired that you feel you can do nothing but sleep all day and all night but somehow you never feel rested, it's hard to know what to do; indeed you may feel totally powerless.

But there is something that you can do to help yourself.

There is a practice that allows you to relearn the art of relaxation, and over a period of time it reduces tension in the mind and body and can help towards recovery.

It is a systematic, progressive practice that offers many benefits, these will vary with the individual and it may not be for everyone.

I was trained in this ancient practice of Yoga Nidra in 2002-2004 and I am currently near completion of a further six month course with the Satyananda Yoga Centre in Birmingham.

I am starting a new class for those who feel they may need it, or who would like to give it a try. This class will be solely Yoga Nidra, with little or no physical activity.

Come with an open mind, prepared to relax and ‘let go' for half an hour and see how it makes you feel.

The class is on Wednesday mornings 11.30-12.00am beginning on January 6th 2010 at the Wickham Hall, Ashburton Road, Bovey Tracey

For further information or to reserve a place on the course please call Kathy North 01626 821506 r email kathynorth28@hotmail.com
