Dartmoor Local Plan Consultation – Public Drop in Events
As many of you know, the Dartmoor Local Plan is under review and the current draft will be published for public consultation from 3rd December 2018 – 4th February 2019.
As part of this, in December, the Forward Planning team at Dartmoor National Park Authority will run four public drop in events. The aim of these events is to raise awareness about the consultation and encourage as many people as possible to view the Local Plan and submit their comments. In addition to public drop in events, there will also be various Local Plan workshops for Parish Councils, local organisations and professionals.
The draft will be published on the Dartmoor National Park Authority’s website from 3rd December 2018 (www.dartmoor.gov.uk/localplanreview), with physical copies also available to view at Dartmoor National Park offices, with district and parish councils, local libraries and various information points across Dartmoor.
Once the draft is published, comments can be made via the online feedback form (live on their website from 3rd December) or in writing.

South East Dartmoor
When: 6th December 2018, 4pm – 7pm
Location: Ashburton Christmas Fayre (look out for the Dartmoor outreach van!)
South West Dartmoor
When: 11th December 2018, 3pm – 6pm
Location: Meeting Room, Yelverton War Memorial Hall
North Dartmoor
When: 13th December 2018, 3pm – 6pm
Location: Whiddon Down Village Hall
East Dartmoor
When: 18th December 2018, 3pm – 6pm
Location: Moretonhampstead Community Club
