Part Two: Campaign Against Political Correctness

Sun 28 Feb 2010

Some readers may remember that over the last few years I have written a couple of articles about Political Correctness for the Cottage Magazine.

With my first Article I started off with the ‘Non Competitive Sports Day' lunacy that has been infecting our Schools, and the dreadful message it sends our children. I was inspired to write a second article after being labelled ‘offensive' and a possible ‘racist' in a High Street coffee house because, wait for it......... I asked for a ‘Black Coffee'!

So here I am again, and I bet your thinking, oh god, what's happened now?!

Was it the National Children's Bureau (NCB) advising Playgroups to come down hard on Toddlers who say the word ‘YUK' after eating a different food? Such as chilli? According to the NCB handbook, children expressing displeasure to a different/foreign food is an early sign of prejudice, and should not be tolerated.

Even the £12m a year Government funded people from the NCB, no matter how hard they tried, couldn't make me write this time - Well actually, I suppose they did in the end, but let's not split hairs here.

This article is about an incident during the G20 Protests in London which happened around this time last year. Before I start, I must state I do NOT condone ANY violence or Police brutality. There were some incidents of an unsavoury nature, but the one I talk about is different to these.

This particular incident involved a lady, who in the end managed to get a Policeman suspended. You can actually view the video of the incident on You Tube.

We see the lady in question acting very aggressively and verbally abusing a Policeman. The policeman is doing well to ignore her, until she steps up the verbal abuse a notch, and starts aggressively moving toward him. The Officer shouts ‘move back' (to which she doesn't) she is pushed away, receiving 2 hits on the back of the leg with a police baton.

Fair enough, no?

Unbelievably, I see this lady on the BBC National news, showing off her bruise, it's just too awful for her comprehend. ‘Why didn't the policeman just ask me to move nicely?' she said. The BBC guys are all nodding in agreement, they can't believe it. How dare the Policeman do this!

Needless to say the PC brigade jumped on the bandwagon, demanding action against the Officer. In fact, they made such a fuss through the press the Police were bullied into suspending the Officer from his duties.

This is an interesting case because it's all caught on camera and you can see and hear everything. There is NO mention of the disgusting abusive and aggressive behaviour towards the Officer. No mention of how the Officer did a brilliant job controlling himself, and clearly dealt with the aggressive lady in an appropriate manner.

With a Police Force stretched to the limit, another Officer off the street, the PC brigade achieved nothing other than to cripple the Police Force even further. This is one of the finest examples of PC gone mad that I have ever come across, and it confirms to me why the PC idiots are now destroying this country from the inside out.

All my previous Articles can be found on the Cottage Website, there is a feedback section on the Website or simply write into the Cottage using the address on the front. Maybe you agree, or maybe you think I'm a complete madman, either way I'd be delighted to hear from you.
