Macmillan Cancer Support to benefit from Lowerdown Potterys generosity

Sun 28 Feb 2010

Jeremy Leach of Lowerdown Pottery at Bovey Tracey has madea most kind offer to Macmillan Cancer Support here in SouthDevon.  He has offered to have a "half-price sale"of all his work now at the pottery.  All of the income from the sales willbenefit the charity.

This special sale will take place at the pottery on the23rd and 24th April (Friday and Saturday).  The pottery will be open bothdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..  Coffee and teas will be availabe, providedby the Macmillan Committee.

Jeremy continues the family tradition of potting at BoveyTracey, and still maintains his Father, David's, original kiln.  Jeremy'sown stoneware and porcelain pots will be on sale, along with other familymembers' pieces, which will be at their regular prices.  This is a realopportunity to acquire some collector items, at the same time as helping thecharity.

Macmillan is extremely grateful to Jeremy Leach for hisimaginative support - the income raised will benefit many local projects.

*Free parking has kindly been made available by theEdgemoor Hotel - across the street from the pottery.
