Teignbridge Outreach Volunteering Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for volunteers has arisen through The Teignbridge Outreach Benefits Service for Carers'. Volunteers are needed to provide a home vist to help carers complete relevant benefit claim forms. Volunteers will be provided with full training, support and travel expenses with hours to suit.

The Teignbridge Outreach Benefits Service is one of the services co-ordinated by Dawlish & East Teignbridge Volunteer Bureau, registered charity 1051265. Demand on the Outreach Benefits Service has led to the development of this voluntary role. The service covers the whole of the Teignbridge area and this role would be ideally suited for someone with transport, looking to gain skills and experience in advice and welfare benefits or would equally suit someone who is retired with a background in customer services.
